A site like this only works if members contribute information, ideas, and experiences. Lurking is fine, but if the majority of people lurk, and do not contribute, it is just not worth the effort. Just a quick post about anything is fine. Somewhere you ate, somebody pissed you off, the price of gas..anything on your mind.(well....almost anything)
We're not asking for a dime. Just a bit of your time. Thanks very much for understanding.

Do you have a picture you'd like to post anonymously? Maybe a neighbor with a littered lot, government employees goofing off, illegally registered or parked cars, a restaurant with a filthy restroom, or just something you would like to make public. Just take a picture with a digital or cell phone camera and email it to Anonymous Pics
A little detail explaining the picture would be helpful, but not necessary. We will get it posted anonymously.

Post 100 yr.old woman

It was so sad to read the story of the 100 year old woman being murdered at a Dartmouth Nursing Home. My heart goes out to her family. I'm thinking it was probably a deranged patient that killed her, but who knows. I know I wish my MOM would of lived to that age, we never want to lose our Mothers no matter how old they are. The horror in the way she left this world is tough to take. I'm sure her family is in great pain. I will remember them in my prayers tonight..............Rebecca

It was sad to learn that they had warning of a serious conflict between the patients. When my mom was in a nursing home she had a similar situation. I demanded that she be moved and she was within two days.

Yes, you do have to stay on top of the management and insist on things. It sounded like the family did try, but someone didn't listen. Sometimes the elderly don't want to cause problems and don't stress to their family how things truly are...it's very sad.

I think all the rooms could be made a bit smaller BUT for single occupancy. Everyone gets a window, no one shares a bathroom. Then they should have small sitting areas evenly spaced in the hallways for 'neighbors to converse if they so choose. That would be in addition to a large central function room they all probably have now.

They are in a similar envorinment as prisoners are. They have so little individualism that huge fights can ignite over the smallest of issues, like a special spot on a window sill for a plant.
"He assisted in a public event". Is political 'spin' for describing a condemned politician at his own hanging.
